I've lived in Atlanta for over 10 years and have visited dozens of health food stores, spas, restaurants and more. I will tell you my list of the best of the best places that you should visit regularly to help you on your health and wellness trip. This list of places includes the best customer service, value for money and overall wellbeing experiences:
1st Dekalb farmers market
3000 E Ponce De Leon Ave.
Decatur, Georgia 30033
This is the best place for a grocery store in Atlanta. They have every fresh fruit and vegetable you can think of and prices are most competitive in and around the city. This place makes it affordable to eat healthily. I used to live in nature, but even now that I live about 60 kilometers away, I still go to the farmers market to visit a grocery store. In addition to an extensive fruit and vegetable section, they also offer a wide selection of natural meat, seafood and herbs and spices.
There is also a wide selection of international food, which is why people of all nationalities shop and work here. The farmer's market is not just a grocery store, but a shopping experience!

2. Jeju sauna
3555 Gwinnett Pl Dr
Duluth, Georgia 30096
I love Jeju! This is a great oasis north of Atlanta. I went to Jeju, the Korean spa, several years ago when I was one of the few Americans who knew about it. Jeju is a spa and a sauna with a variety of sauna rooms made of various healthy and soothing elements and minerals. They have rooms of rock salt, red clay and amethyst / rose quartz. I usually go once a month and stay for hours. You pay $ 25 and can stay as long as you want for up to 24 hours. They also offer massages, body scrubs and treatments that you will not find anywhere else in Atlanta, such as their famous hip bath, but for which you will have to pay extra.
On a trip to Jeju, you have the feeling that you have temporarily traveled from the USA to Korea. If you go, let them know that this is your first time and get a thorough tour of the complex, which also includes a hot tub, steam room, restaurant and swimming pool. Drink plenty of water before and after getting up to help detoxify your body.
3rd North Georgia Mountains
You may be thinking, what does it do on the list? Well, I'm always amazed how many people have lived in Atlanta for years and have not completed the two-hour drive to the North Georgia Mountains yet. I have three words to describe this scenery: calm, relaxed and beautiful. It is the perfect place to enjoy the healing effects of nature. Northern Georgia is perfect for a day trip or a weekend getaway. There are horseback riding, beautiful waterfalls like Amicalola Falls and Anna Ruby Falls, parks, beautiful nature trails, white water rafting and much more. I love to pack lunch and spend the day in Unicoi State Park.
4. Midtown Atlanta Wellness Center
117 5th Street NE Suite 1
Atlanta, GA 30308-1313
If you want to lose weight and detoxify, then this is an oasis in the middle of the city! Whether you are just starting your healing journey or are a veteran, this Atlanta spa is a must. They offer a variety of wellness services such as Massage, colonization, weight loss programs, hypnotherapy and more!
On my first visit to MAWC I got a colon and a pre-colon massage. I already got colonists, but that was by far the best experience. The pre-colonic massage has practically doubled my results. The atmosphere was relaxing and nurturing with waterfalls and soft music. The doctor's office did not feel that there were so many colon centers.
Dr. Pam, the owner, also offers a very comprehensive free nutritional consultation for every colon to help you stay on track. I loved this place so much that I started to work here!
5. Arden's garden
(There are several places, this is my favorite)
1117 Euclid Avenue Northeast
If you live in Georgia, you must try an Arden's Garden Juice. When you pick up Arden's Garden Juice and read the ingredients, you only see real fruits and vegetables. No purees or concentrates. And Arden uses a pasteurization system that handles most of the nutritional value.
Although the juices are sold in various stores in the Atlanta area, a visit to the store is highly recommended. This is the only juice shop in Atlanta where you can get a "Grand Slam," which is 4, 1 ounce wheatgrass, ginger, lemon, and cranberry. This combination of strokes also has a strong detoxifying and invigorating effect. My favorite juices are Oops, Hot Shot, Cha-Cha Cherry and Supergreen.
If you are interested in fasting, cleansing and slimming, you will also visit the cleaning class, which is taken care of by the gracious and knowledgeable Arden Zinn himself.
6. Phoenix and Dragon
5531 Roswell Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30342
A great place to buy sage, crystals, candles, books, music and much more. Phoenix and Dragon is my goal for spiritual tools. This is the perfect shop if you are ready to take your healing to the next level and really broaden your thinking. This is the kind of place where you can sit and stay for hours just to read, explore, and get to know different cultural healing traditions. Just go with open mind and time to explore.
7th R. Thomas Deluxe Grill
1812 Peachtree Street, NW,
Atlanta, Georgia 30309
The restaurant is open 24 hours and caters to everyone: vegans, vegetarians, raw food lovers and carnivores. It is one of my favorite restaurants to accommodate a diverse group of eaters, because everyone is happy. The food is delicious and the drinks menu is great too. You can get fresh juices, smoothies and herbal teas. Try the blue moon, it's my favorite latte on the menu. Or order a fresh coconut and enjoy coconut water directly from the spring.
Another great bonus is that you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at R. Thomas's at any time of the day.
467 Moreland Avenue NE
Atlanta, GA 30307
I shop regularly at Sevananda! They have the best herbal range I've seen in town. You can get dried kelp, bentonite clay and any herb you can imagine to make herbal baths, teas and potions. You will also find premixed herbal teas from cell renewal to anti-cancer drugs. Sevananda also has a nice selection of essential oils, supplements and vegetarian and vegan foods.
9. Love it live
2796 East Point Street
East Point, GA 30344-3238
This is a raw, vegan restaurant specializing in gourmet cuisine. They have lasagna, sandwiches, tacos, brownies – just to name a few. All their food is made without using a stove. Why should they do this? Well, it has been proven that foods cooked at high temperatures do not contain essential nutrients and enzymes that are needed for optimal cell function. There are several wonderful testimonies to the power of raw food to cure diabetes, cancer and other diseases that are considered "incurable".
I'm not a raw foodist or even a complete vegan, but I often go to Loving it Live when I need a nutritional boost. The food makes you feel amazing after just a few bites. My favorite dishes are the Tostadas and the green Irish moss.
A note: The preparation of the meal takes time. Either you order in advance (there is a menu on the website, the name is used by Google) or you have some time.
Decatur Yoga and Pilates
431 West Ponce de Leon Ave.
Decatur, GA 30030
This is my favorite yoga studio in Atlanta. They offer courses at different times throughout the day to meet even the most busy dates. The Hot Yoga class is my favorite, but they also offer many non-hot yoga and Pilates classes. The teachers are great and the prices are affordable. To begin, you can pay $ 25 for one week of unlimited yoga classes.
Bonus I: World Peace Cafe
220 Hammond Drive # 302
Sandy Springs, GA 30328
This is a great vegetarian restaurant just off Roswell Road in Sandy Springs (north of Atlanta). It also has a pretty cool concept, as it was built with donations and volunteers and all the cooks, servers and cashiers – everyone is a volunteer. The proceeds from the restaurant will benefit the increasing world peace in the community.
The food is delicious too!
Bonus II: Zen Tea
356 Peachtree Rd
Atlanta, Georgia 30341
This is a great teahouse in the Dunwoody area. They serve a wide variety of teas, including green, white, black, red, herbs and oolong. They also have great events like tea tasting on Friday, live music and meditation classes. This is the perfect zen tea oasis. Enjoy a cup of tea in the café or tea for the home.
I wish I could add more, but that was it!
